PlayStation Radio UK. Some of you may know of us as the podcast that warms the hearts of gamers; makes orphans happy; freed the Japanese from the threat of Godzilla; invented the bottle or invented the word “jiggle”. Other, slightly more sane people, might know of us due to our status as the most popular British PlayStation podcast.
On a lazy, hazy, crazy Summer day in 2009 Simon and Ben set off on a journey that would take them deep into the heart of gaming. Together they saw many wonderful things, including a Zippy who joined their party. Together they experienced too many fabulous events to fit them all here; suffice to say, that they all shouted “a handbag” a lot and then forced Nolan North (the voice actor of Nathan Drake) to pretend he was a sperm cell. However in late 2011 the three split ways. Thankfully, though, this turned out to be a ruse to make way for their new podcast much like when a cell undergoes mitosis.
The former ‘PlayStation Chat’ became ‘PlayStation Radio UK’ and nothing could stand in it’s path. In 2012 we officially became ‘Award Nominated‘ courtesy of our wonderful listeners!
We are proud of our constant pursuit of all things pointless and, to this day, continue to push out as much PlayStation audio as we can. Thanks for listening and sticking by us!
Both our intro and outro music is from the bossom of the masterful Anamanguchi, you can buy their stuff here!
